The wheel of fortune represents the changes involved in life’s natural ebb and flow. One thing is for certain, the wheel of life keeps on turning and with each rotation comes change.  But, if we watch long enough, we will recognize patterns, the change of the seasons, or stages of life.  What vantage point are you viewing your life from?  Hanging on the edge of the wheel can spin you right off into oblivion but as you make your way to the center, things are slower and more peaceful.  How you experience the changes depends on your perspective.  How do you find your center?   What patterns tend to repeat in your life?

The pots are thrown by hand on the wheel. The bases are trimmed.

Once the pots are bone dry are fired in the kiln to 1000 degrees (the bisque fire) which dries and strengthens them sufficiently for glazing. They are dip glazed before I fire them again to 2233 degrees.
